About the Course



This course focuses on simple tasty recipes that are easy to prepare. We talk about being a vegetarian as a means to a higher taste. We share some ayurvedic tips on healthy eating, how to prepare and offer karma-free food in good consciousness. We hope that the recipes in this course will not only nourish your body and mind but also uplift your soul. This course features simple recipe ideas for healthy nutritious meals and some quick and easy sweet treats to spoil yourself at times.


Foods in the mode of goodness increase the duration of life, purify one's existence and give strength, health, happiness and satisfaction. Such nourishing foods are sweet, juicy, fattening and palatable (Bhagavad-gita 17.8).

Meet the Instructor



Yugala Priti devi dasi is a Vedic lifestyle coach, yoga teacher and cook. Originally from Lithuania, she spent five years serving at the Bhaktivedanta Manor ISKCON Temple in London teaching the bhakti-yoga philosophy, traveling and sometimes distributing books.

Once she got the special service to assist Mother Kulangana, a well-renowned cook and sweet maker, on her journey to India. It was during that trip that she fell in love with India and started learning to cook under the guidance of Mother Kulangana, who always emphasized that cooking should be done with love and devotion for the pleasure of Lord Krishna.

Yugala recently graduated from the Mayapur Academy, Deity Cooking Course Module, which has further improved her knowledge and love for cooking.
